Stainless Steel Process Tanks
Overview
The sanitary tanks used for processing materials typically are made of stainless steel, and are fully jacketed and insulated with agitators for efficient heating / cooling. Tank bottoms are usually angled for complete drainage of the products and may have Clean in Place capability. Processing tanks can be customized to capacities from 100 to 5,000 liters and equipped with a variety of agitators for low speed to high-shear mixing depending on product viscosity.

- Available with open type with hinged lids or sealed tank top for pressure purposes.
- The tank shell made of 304 or 316 stainless steel is rigid, durable and resistant to corrosion.
- Jacket types include: conventional jackets, half-pipe jackets, dimple jackets or internal coils.
- Interior #4 finish eliminates dead spots to get easy and efficient cleaning.
- Types of agitation available include: paddle, turbine, propeller, scraping type and many others.
